Continuing medical education

For Certificate to Recommend Medical Marijuana

Silphium Charitable Foundation in joint sponsorship with the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine will be holding a two-hour certified continuing medical education course for doctors who have an interest in recommending medical marijuana to qualifying Ohio patients.  This course will be lead by medical marijuana researchers, Dr. Debra Kimless, M.D. and Mark Welty, Ph.D., LPCC-S, LSW.

The Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing education for physicians.  The Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine designates this program for a maximum of 2 credits of AOA Category 1-A credit and will report the CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.
